Old Windsor Accommodation

Old Windsor is just a couple of miles from Windsor Castle and the Great Park, and close to the River Thames.  A regular bus services connects the suburb to Windsor itself and to the major shopping centre of Staines.

NBI's apartments, known as the Tapestries, were built in 1882 to house the French weavers working at the Royal Windsor Tapestry Manufactory.  The houses were later converted into apartments, and they have all been fully refurbished in the last 10 years.

Each apartment is of individual design and layout, and many retain unique features of this interesting building.  There is a resident house manager, and the Tapestries have well maintained gardens to the front and rear to which residents have full access.
